About Me

My name is Bruno Armenante and I am a Professional Photographer. I was born in Cava de' Tirreni (Salerno, Italy) where I lived and worked until recently. In November of 2016 I moved to Norwich, Norfolk to continue with my career. Since childhood I have been in love with photography and am greatly passionate about it. It is an expression of creativity, an art form, in which a moment in life is frozen and preserved creating a memory of the subject. That piece of art captures expressions of moods and feelings and forms the platform for each individual's interpretation. I like to think of myself as an 'honest' photographer, one who captues the truth, the spontaneity and the essence of the moment. I hope to intrigue all those that look at my photos. My photos have been described as intimate, sincere and moving - photos that convey and tell stories in a natural and pure style. I like to photgraph the particular details that may look superficial to the eye of an observer. I have been completely absorbed in my approach to photography which has flourished in the tranquil moments spent in the midst of nature, being able to see what one doesn't ordinarily see and hear what one doesn't ordinarily hear. When I take photographs, in the midst of a jungle of sound, the work is in creating a film that allows all those that view my work not to miss a single important moment. Photography is a book that everyone can read - images and colours mixed to reveal smiles, tears and movements. This is what I am and this is my art. During the last few years I have continued my professional development studies: I havebeen a member of the local Photographic Club (Member of FIAF - Italian Federation of Photographic Associations); I attended several classes of digital photography in addition to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and an Advanced Course of Photography ("Salerno Photography") where I specialised in photo editing and post-production, photographic composition and visual communication. I have attended workshops with Marco Olivotto and with still life master Armando Andreoli in addition to a recent course for Advanced Photoshop. Among my experiences I have photographed for a catalogue of ceramic sculptures for the Association Pandora Artiste Ceramiste, created for an exhibition for the European Parliament in Brussels and an events mareting agency as a 'reportage' and 'still life' photographer. Marriages, baptisms, birthdays, Holy Communions, model photography and conferences all form part of my portfolio.
